Natalie joined Schlacter Law after working at the Miami Dade Public Defender’s Office where she handled a large volume of misdemeanor and felony cases. It was during her time at the office, Natalie learned negotiation techniques, case preparation and aggressive trial strategies. Natalie utilizes these skills as a Plaintiff’s attorney and prepares every case as if it were going to trial. She is known to be a powerful and strategic trial lawyer.
Natalie was born in Winterthur, Switzerland, immigrating to the United States at 6 years old to eventually settle down in Miami, Florida. She attended the University of Miami where she received her Bachelor of Arts in Criminology and English. She then went on to receive her Juris Doctorate from Nova Southeastern University Shepard Broad Law Center. She is currently licensed to practice in the state of Florida.
While in law school, Natalie was an active member of the Criminal Law Society and Female Association of Women Lawyers. She maintained internships at the Broward County State Attorney’s Office and the Miami Dade County Public Defender’s Office. She became a certified legal intern for the Miami Dade County Public Defender’s Office. She also attended a summer program in The Hague, The Netherlands focusing on international human rights law.
From 2016 until 2020, she worked at the Miami-Dade County Public Defender’s Office. During her time there she handled cases in the Juvenile Court, County Court, and Circuit Court. Natalie has an abundance of trial experience. She has tried over 40 casesincluding several media cases.
Natalie has devoted her enter career to helping those in the most vulnerable points in their life and continues to do so every day.
Currently, she resides in Miami with her two rescue dogs and takes advantage of living near the water to pursue her passion of scuba diving.
